Going Vegan

It all started from accidentally reading a book and what I mean by accidentally is that a coworker had brought this book that forever changed my life into work and with a vulgar title "Skinny Bitch" it immediately woke me from my day dream. After reading the book it made to much sense not to go vegan so I decided rite then and there I was going to adopt the vegan lifestyle. A lot easier said than done though for someone who has malnourished his body his entire life on the SAD diet (Standard American Diet) until now, what the heck was I going to eat? I thought I'll just go buy a bunch of fruit make some salads and I'll be set. Haha come to find out that doesn't exactly fill you up "so I thought at that time having no clue what to eat to intake enough calories to sustain an active lifestyle. The other challenge I faced at this time was college, forcing me to constantly be on the go balancing work, school, and a social life this all added to the struggle to adopt this new lifestyle. After a month of struggling I became a Vegetarian which lasted for four years, I only wish I knew what I know now about living a Vegan lifestyle and that is exactly what the goal of this blog and many to follow are here to help with; how to successfully transfer from a SAD diet to a superior vegan diet without the struggle or at least not as much of a struggle. Warning you are about to have the most energy and the clearest thought process you have ever experienced just from eating real food.
